The South Bay is chock full of excellent choices for brunch. Weekend mornings you'll find families, teens, couples and seniors strolling the beach communities, enjoying the sun and surf, headed to their favorite brunch spots. Whether you're recovering from a late Saturday night or looking for some amazing grub after an early morning surf session, you can't go wrong with these three local hot spots.
Uncle Bill's Pancake House
Located on Highland Avenue in Manhattan Beach, Uncle Bill's is known for it's cool vibe, amazing patio and ocean view. And pancakes of course! The only downside to this South Bay brunch institution is the wait come early or go for a beach walk to pass the time. Yelp raves: "Portions are well..BIG. I actually think you can share the food with another person. And that's one order by itself. The strawberry pancakes are to die for. You have 3 eggs done in anyway you want then you get like 1/3 of a plate of hash browns (also to die for, there's magic in there for you to keep eating) and the main order on the other side. i.e chicken breast, sausage links, bacon etc. I wanted to also try their wrap, it seems like it's really good, sorry lady I was sitting next to. I kept staring at what you had in your hand."

Wildflower Cafe
Located on PCH, Wildflower Cafe makes up for its lack of ocean view with absolutely delish breakfast food! The atmosphere is casual, the patio is comfy, and the wait is usually minimal. You heard that right: great brunch without the wait. Can't go wrong. Yelp raves: "If you love good and fresh breakfast food, then you have try this place. Wildflower Cafe is El Hubby Cakes and I favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Redondo Beach. They serve homemade, fresh and unpretentious food. The service is always great and I love the relaxed and casual atmosphere."
